A shoting in the neighborhood
Four Arrested in Connection to Teen Shot in Head on West Side
Four men has been arrested today in Cleveland, Ohio in connection with a shooting that happened on the west side of the city. Police say that the four men knocked on a door to a home on Denison Avenue and shot through the door, shooting a sixteen year-old boy on the other side of that door, in the head, that was preparing to open it. The four men took off running but was later caught. The 16 year-old boy is in critical condition at the MetroHealth Medical Center. Police don't know which man made the shot as of yet.
This could be gang related. I know from watching HBO specials that involve gang members, that when there's a new person to join the gang they have "prove them self worthy" and shot some random person. Or this could be a specific hit from a gang. Either way there's no since in shooting someone peroid, let a lone shot someone for the "fun" of it.
Another thing it could be is just someone making trouble for someone else. One of these four men could be mad at someone who lives at that address, went to the home and took a shot through the door, hoping to shoot the right person. Either way this isn't the proper thing to do.
I don't understand why people kill others anyway. How do they live with them selves? It's beyond how I think and I thank God for that. My cousins dad shot and killed my aunt when we were only four years old. I remember a little about that. It was over something stupid, he was jealous of her. He thought she was with someone else. They were separated at the time, so what did it matter. She was a beautiful woman and could have gotten someone else if she wanted them. My Aunt Delores was only 24 years old. It's a shame that people can take the life of someone else. It doesn't matter who the person is or how you kill them, it still should affect you in some way.
My brother was hit and kill by a car while he was walking on the side of the road. The person driving the car was my cousin. It was a freak accident. My brother was only 15 years old and my cousin shouldn't have been driving without her glasses and she should have had my new born niece in a car seat. But instead she decided to drive without glasses and put the new born baby in the set next to her. This decision has affected her life the rest of the time after the accident. You know that it was accidental but she has suffered for it for years now. No kind of death by the hands of others shouldn't affect the person in one way or the other. But killing out of random boredom is wrong.
